Hope you guys are having an amazing weekend. I was off this week and it was so worth it. I needed the time to just unwind and get things done around the house.
I actually wasn't going to take any cake orders this week, however I got an email from Kelly who has been studying Ashtanga yoga since 1999 and finally opened her own yoga studio in Oakville, Ontario. She wanted a cake and cupcakes to reflect some of the Indian designs associated with yoga. She indicated the colours and wanted to incorporate some henna designs. We decided to go with a peacock cake and a few matching cupcakes. She also wanted her logos so I made a dozen of those. The rest was basically up to me!!! I especially love the green lotus flower, well its my interpretation of the lotus flower :)
Good Luck Kelly on the opening of your Yoga Studio.
